Work
Jenni provides support for individuals, couples and families who have been affected by loss in its many forms. She provides education, training and self development workshops for professionals, volunteers and those in the wider community. On specific workshops, Jenni works together with experienced colleagues. The following pages give more information about her work and how she may be able to help you or your organisation.
Supporting children
The Angus Lawson Memorial Trust was set up in 2006 to mitigate suffering in children. Jenni works with the Trust to provide grief support to children and young people who experience loss. She is a Patron of the charity.
Supporting parents
Rosie's Rainbow Fund was founded in 2003 when Jenni was invited to be a Patron. Jenni works with the charity offering support to parents and families when a baby or child dies.
Supporting professionals
Jenni believes that grief education, training and support are vitally important in all aspects of life. Using the resources she has designed, and drawing on a lifetime's experience, she offers a unique range of courses and supervision to healthcare professionals. Additionally she facilitates a variety of workshops focussing on personal development and managing change.
Speaking engagements
Jenni is an experienced and engaging public speaker. As well as having had a long and illustrious career in the NHS, she has also experienced the roller coaster ride of setting up a charity for a cause she felt passionately about. Jenni is available to speak publicly about her experiences and to offer specific presentations on aspects of her work. She has been invited to give presentations all over the world.
Consultancy Fees
Jenni's consultancy fees are £50 an hour. A training day is £450. Individual rates for workshops will vary. Much of Jenni's work with bereaved families is funded by charity, however donations are always gratefully received.
